Labour mobility is critical to development strategies and today’s world of work constantly requires the sharing of experience and transfer of specialized skills. The Nigerian Immigration Act, 2015 places a high premium on the availability of skills and expertise required to galvanize the Nigerian economy by ensuring easy and affordable access to foreign expertise wherever and whenever required in Nigeria. One important facility that the Nigerian Government has emplaced to ensure fast-tracked access to various skill sets required in Nigeria is the Temporary Work Permit.
